Title: Crazy, Stupid, Fauxmance
Author: Shellee Roberts
Series: Creative HeArts, #3
Release Date:  April. 18, 2016
Genre: YA Contemporary Romance
Publisher: Entangled Teen Crush

Disclaimer: This Entangled Teen Crush book contains a kickass heroine, a boy so hot he’ll make you shiver, and a falling-in-love story fit for the big screen. You’ll want to settle in and have the popcorn ready.

After Mariely Hinojosa and Cabot Wheeler both break up with their significant others at the same party, Mariely sees a way to get even with both of their exes. Everyone knows that the best way to get over a breakup is a hookup—a fake hookup, that is. Three weeks, all fun, no strings, and definitely no heartbreak at the end.

But somewhere between the sweet hand-holding and melt-your-mind kisses, their fake relationship starts to feel less like an act and more like the real thing…but Mariely’s a free-spirited girl from the other side of the tracks, and Cabot’s the hot trust-fund guy from the Hills.

They’d never work for real…

REVIEW
** I received an ARC in exchange of an honest review **

First, you can read my review for the second book here —I know I’d said I was going to read the first one, but I haven't had enough time.

Anyway, I really like the idea of this series, we’re in the third book but each one has been written by a different author, so it does make this interesting. I don’t know how they can write them and catch up in the details of the others book, because they tell you details of the other books —I’m a little lost with that. However, I think this series is an “introduction” to their stories —Sloane and Tru (1st); Willa and Finn (2nd); Mariely and Cabot (3rd)— because they do have their own books each one written by the same author.

This time is Shellees turn —another new-author to my list. She plunges us into Mariely and Cabot lives, two persons whom respective boyfriend/girlfriend cheated on him/her —at the same party.

Mariely’s boyfriend —the one she thought she would be moving with— cheated on her, now she has to rebuild all the plans they made about moving together to another city when high school was over, and she has to work more hours so she can have the money he was supposed to put in. The worst part? Her ex seems to be happy about come out —happy for him, but sad for her. He’s a good guy, don’t get me wrong, the thing was just that he wasn’t into girls, and he’s an actor, so yes, she couldn’t had known it —or she didn’t want to accepted it, he was too perfect for a boyfriend.
I really enjoyed Mariely’s character, she was funny, and a good actress. She loves acting!

Cabot’s girlfriend —one I didn’t like in HWGHGB— cheated on him, even when he’s not that affected for the whole situation, he can get over it so easily, why? It seems she can understand what no means. What’s the problem with that girl? She cheated on him! I’m not a big fan of her, so I can’t say something good about her.
So Cabot… he’s sexy and sweet, also cute. He loves photography and painting —he’s also good at both.

The plot of this book is how both of them can get over —or at least try— their break-ups, what do they do for that? Easy, they start a fake relationship/romancefauxmance, but the more time they spend together… yes, it lets them wanting all but fake.
The best way to get over a breakup is a hookup.
Overall, I’m really looking forward for the next book —in this series and in Mariely and Cabot’s story. I highly recommended it! I liked all the chapters from his POV, hers too, it made me know more about why he did something, or why his reactions. The way in which both fell in love was so cute, and sweet! When they realized it was the best part. As I said, I think this books are their introductions, also because they are too short for my like —well, they’re not, but they’re. And Mariely and Cabot are different in many ways, but at the same time they’re so similar. Another thing I liked —not related with them— was read more about Willa and Finn’s lives! Shellee's writing was pretty good. Happy Release Day Shellee!

ABOUT SHELLEE!
There are three things (besides her family) that Shellee loves more than Netflix: Dr. Pepper, OTPs, and book boyfriends (I’m looking at you, Gilbert Blythe).

Shellee has been told that her life goal as a writer should be to win prestigious awards that will grant her literary immortality, but as an OG ‘shipper (like, seriously, Tad and Dixie--my first hardcore ship) all she really wants is to create two characters that people love so much they give them a cool mashup name.

Shellee spends her days living the dream with her family in Austin, Texas--and by living the dream she means waking up at the crack of dawn to go to work, chauffeur, walk dogs, do dishes, and fold laundry. At night she gets down to to real business, basking in the warm, blue glow of her computer screen and bringing the stories in her head to life on the page...or watching Veronica and Logan fan videos on YouTube till 2am.

Tomorrow she’s definitely going to kick that procrastination problem to the curb.
